Antique Linocut Tray. ( Stamped Artwork using Linoleum)

I hate to give this up! This sweet scene was made by carving the image desired out of linoleum, making a stamp. This was most likely a tramp art sort of medium. Using what was available to create art...so cool. I see a family having a relaxing Sunday afternoon after Church. Lovely scene from days gone by. There are slight smudges in the picture, and wear on the frame. I have no idea how old this is, but I would guess early 1900's. Measures 19 x 8.5 superb for everyday use. superior materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
