This is a exquisite example of a 19th century hat box with an remarkable lithograph top.
Dark pink fabric adorns the inside, some fading. The lower portion of the box is wood with what feels like a light metal overlay. It has relief flowers on the sides. A lovely lithograph adorns the interestingly cut top with a brass clip lock.

Image has wear, assorted cracking & loss. Please look at photographs carefully. Will be packaged heavily & well to assure no damage to the delicate box.
