1960/70s Hippie American Flag Leather Layered Fringe Purse Flower Power Lining
Vintage1970s Hippie American Flag Leather Layered Fringe Shoulder Bag. This is an original bag from the 1960/70s in almost ideal collectible condition. It has a 2 layered fringe of the American Flag on one side and all black leather fringe on the opposite side. It is studded along each side of the shoulder strap. Zipper closure with gold tone pull hardware and inside has a hook & eye closure pocket. It is in very good vintage condition. There is one strip of fringe broken off but is inside and could possibly be reattached. The exquisite floral flower power cotton fabric lining is very clean and free of odor. The outside leather white pieces have some minor discoloration from storing. It could clean up with leather conditioner/cleaner. The strap does not detach. Measures: H 10 1/2 x 10. Drop is 10. Top of strap to bottom of fringe 12 1/2. No maker's tag. Made in China tag. This purse represents the 1960/70s hippie movement of peace, love and personal freedom. Weight 8 oz.
